The organization carried out following activities with NABARD’s support and guidance.
100 members from 23 Joint Liability Groups (JLG) were imparted training in Banaraj poultry farming at Nota G.P. The programme was executed in 5 batches of 20 each, and each programme for a duration of 7 days. Started on June 25, 2016, the 7 week long programme also included a poultry rearing unit for demonstration. The groups were subsequently linked with the Bank for savings and credit purpose under the aegis of bank officials: R.M. OGB, AGM, NABARD, and B.M.OGB. Some local leaders were also present on the occasion.
A Micro-Enterprise Development Programme was conducted for women members to orient them in fodder cultivation. Organised for a period of seven days from 6th to 12th of June 2016 at Nota G P office .The participants were imparted relevant knowledge and skills of growing Azola and Subabool, so they could increase their incomes from goat rearing , Poultry farming ,Dairy farming .
This project from NABARD has been continuing since June 2012 .We have received three sanctions amounting to 450 SHGs. It is also a livelihood project for LWE districts .
