A number of meetings and events were organized during the period for familiarizing different segments of society with financial transaction with banks and related information.
Quiz Competitions: 7 Quiz competitions were held with high school students at Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ H.S. Sainkula, Basudev High Schol,Jaida, Jaipur High School , Jaipur in G B Nagar Block and Kaptipada High Schol, Kaptipada, Bhandar High School, Saradiha,in Kaptipada Block, Govt Girls’ High School ,Patpur, Gadigan High School, Gadigan , in Raruan Block .on financial literacy acquainting them with relevant information and agencies like Reserve Bank of India, NABARD, World Bank , other financial affairs .etc.
On Vigilance Awareness: Vigilance Awareness Week was observed during 31st October to 6th November .It was mainly participated by the High School Students at the time of Quiz programmes to spread awareness on how to check corruption in the society.
GRLTP –Two Grass Root Level Training Programme for women from WSHG s have been arranged .One at Purunabaripada GP, G B Nagar and another at Nota GP under Kaptipada Block . AGM , NABARD attended as the key resource person .
This project of NABARD was launched on 16th May 2017 at Sankalpa Bhawan , Baripada, DFO office. We were trained to make a campaign on ground water conservation ,rain water conservation, check wastage of water , make optimum use of water.8 trained Jaldoots were engaged , without any interruption aware people through - rally, meeting,Socialmapping and sending data through whats aap to NABARD and other whats app group . The Project work started on 21st May and completed on 15th June .
The impact of this campaign was felt immediateky . Some consructon of the Tanks were completed soon as the people got spirited .
